It's manual in the sense that you have to manually move the lever yourself.

Is that what it is? I was hurting my brain trying to figure out how it worked for sure. I'm used to manuals having a third pedal, and having to shift at certain speeds, not just a "set-it-and-forget-it" manual.

It's an automatic sans shifter gnome.
Without the shifter gnome, you have to do the hard work yourself.
